World Menopause Day 2023
During this year’s World Menopause Day, we look back at our recent Menopause Awareness Event ‘Pause & Empower’ – a first-time free Menopause event at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
The event aimed to provide a supportive and educational space for those who may be pre-menopausal, post-menopausal or simply just menopause curious. Over 60 women attended the event to learn from healthcare professionals Dr Julie Hall and Dr Beverley Matta.

BWitC was thrilled to welcome a diverse line-up of guest speakers such as GP Federation who discussed any medical queries. The Bolton based GP’s shared a clinical perspective on all things Menopause, including recognising and managing symptoms, a general overview and lifestyle.

Health Coach Sally Bolton also spoke at the event educating the ladies on how lifestyle plays a major part in managing symptoms and the importance of menopause in the workplace.

Also in attendance were various stalls showcasing services and products to help with managing menopause symptoms and the menopause journey.
