Whats on in the wellbeing hub, Saturday 5th October, BWFC vs. Shrewsbury
Bolton Wanderers in the Community are recognising World Mental Health Health day this Saturday in the Wellbeing Hub, supported by Vital Energi. Saturday’s fixture is the closest home game to World Mental Day therefore we have invited representatives from the following organisations to provide advice and support to fans:
Bolton Talking Therapies: Providing Support to people aged 16+ with common mental health problems. Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners provide Cognitive Behaviour Therapy based Guided Self-Help.
Andy’s Man Club: A free-to-attend talking group that runs every Monday night at 7pm excluding on bank holidays. It’s a group where men aged 18 and above can speak openly about their mental health in a judgement-free, non-clinical environment.
ThinkOn Hypnotherapy: Anne Lonsdale is a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and a Registered Nurse based locally at Bolton Arena. Sally’s job is to help people achieve positive change and feel happier. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is brilliant for helping people change their mindset and this can be for quitting smoking/vaping, weight management and helping manage stress and anxiety amongst lots of other issues.
Sally Bolton: Health and fitness coach for 15 years. For the past 3 years Sally has specialised in menopause health, helping women to navigate through what can be a very challenging time. Sally’s focus is on all areas of lifestyle including sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress management and mindset.
BWitC staff will also be providing their usual info, and staff will be available to chat to about our health work. You can also join us for our usual family friendly activities and refreshments
