What’s On in the Wellbeing Hub – BWFC vs Reading F.C.

Ahead of World Heart Day on the 29th September Bolton Wanderers in the Community will be welcoming all fans into the Wellbeing Hub, supported by Vital Energi, before kick-off on Saturday 21st September.

Saturday’s fixture is the closest home game to World Heart Day therefore we have invited representatives from the following organisations to provide advice and support to fans about keeping your heart healthy:

BCSG – Bolton Cardiac Support Group.

ABL – Weight Management and Smoking Cessation Service.

GP Federation – Conducting health checks.

NHS Foundation Trust – AAA Screening (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening).

Lagan’s Foundation – Care and Support service for children with complex needs specialising in heart defects or feeding issues.

We will also be welcoming family members of Iain Purslow to our Wellbeing Hub to unveil the newly fitted defibrillator, a permanent fixture in that space, in his memory.

BWitC staff will also be providing their usual info, and staff will be available to chat to about our health work. You can also join us for our usual family friendly activities and refreshments
