UK Healthcare Continue Support of Bolton Wanderers in the Community
Bolton Wanderers in the Community were delighted to welcome the UK Healthcare team to the Toughsheet Community Stadium to celebrate their continued support of the charity. Alongside recognising UK Healthcare’s decade long partnership with the charity, the team were treated to witnessing Wanderers’ thrilling 4-3 win against Crawley Town.
UK Healthcare is the trading style of a historic organisation based in Bolton, originally called Bolton & District Hospital Saturday Council.
UK Healthcare is a leading provider of corporate and everyday healthcare Cash Plan schemes which are extremely popular throughout a variety of sectors. With healthcare costs becoming increasingly expensive and difficult to budget for, their healthcare cash plan schemes can help to cover your everyday healthcare expenditure such as Optical, Dental, Physio & even Prescription charges – especially when faced with unplanned medical bills.
Specialising within the corporate arena, their healthcare cash plan scheme is popular with a wide variety of businesses within the public and private sectors together with several not for profit / charitable organisations. From just £1 per employee, per week, businesses can provide their staff with a funded healthcare cash plan scheme which not only helps to improve motivation and morale but also encourages staff to return to work quicker by seeking preventative healthcare measures.
With a proud history of giving back across the communities in which they serve, through their parent organisation and as a group, they guarantee to donate the equivalent of 1% of their combined annual turnover to the Westfield Health Charitable Trust which supports medically related good causes nationwide.
“We’re extremely proud to be continuing our support for BWitC. Their vital work within the town in which we were founded has a huge impact to those in the local community and we’ve been privileged to see this impact first hand. Long may this historic relationship continue, with their projects helping to inspire positive change and ultimately transforming lives” Andrew Clegg – Head of Sales & Corporate Services, UK Healthcare
Richard Slater, Head of Community, BWitC said “We are delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with UK Healthcare, who have supported Bolton Wanderers in the community for over a decade now.
