Support BWitC in the 2022 Santa Dash!

Supporters have the chance to take part in some festive fun this December at the club’s upcoming Santa Dash. Registration for the event is Free and includes one ticket to the Wanderers v Exeter fixture!

Funds raised will go towards Bolton Wanderers in the Community’s ‘Warm Hub’, which will be providing a warm space for the community over the winter period to support with the current cost of living crisis. The event will take place at 11.30am on Saturday 17th December at the University of Bolton Stadium, ahead of the Wanderers’ Sky Bet League One home fixture versus Exeter City.

Already signed up to take part are club Chairman Sharon Brittan, the Wanderers’ Board and club Chief Executive Officer Neil Hart – and supporters from across the borough are encouraged to join them.

The Santa Dash is a one-mile, family friendly event that fundraisers can walk, jog or run and consists of three laps around the perimeter of the stadium. The route is also accessible to wheelchair users and prams. Those taking part are encouraged to get into the Christmas spirit by donning Santa outfits or any kind of festive-themed attire!

Club Chairman Sharon Brittan said: “What better way to get into the festive spirit than to spend some quality time together at our fabulous stadium, whilst raising funds those who really need our support this Christmas.

“I hope as many fans as possible are able to join me for what is set to be a fun yet rewarding event.”

Registration is free and we ask individuals to fundraise what they can to support Bolton Wanderers in the Community’s work.  The registration includes one ticket to the Wanderers v Exeter City fixture. Under 18s must register with an adult. After the event there will be festive activities in BWFC’s Fanzone area.

Funds raised will go towards Bolton Wanderers in the Community’s response to the current cost of living crisis. Through the charity’s ‘warm spaces’ offer throughout the winter months, Bolton residents will be able to visit community spaces to save money on their own fuel bills.

Fans who would like to take on the challenge can register their place here.
