Round of A-Paws for Extra Time Hub Fundraisers

Bolton Wanderers in the Community would like to thank Beth and Bailey who raised a generous £200 for our charity. Beth and her dog Bailey performed tricks to raise vital funds to support the continuation of our Extra Time Hub service.

The Extra Time Hub holds special significance to Beth, as her Grandfather Terry and his partial carer, Beth’s Mother Dawn, had previously attended the hub’s sessions. The family shared their gratitude for the space, highlighting how the sessions benefitted Terry by giving him the opportunity to socialise and engage in various activities, making a meaningful difference in his life.

Now in its fifth year, our Extra Time Hub provides a welcoming space for local residents aged 50+ to meet new people, make friends, participate in activities, or simply enjoy a cup of tea and a chat. Held every Tuesday and Thursday at the Sutton Estate Community Centre and the Wellbeing Hub at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, our sessions aim to foster connections, build support networks, and enhance the mental and physical wellbeing of residents the Bolton community.

The success of initiatives like these depends on the kindness and support of individuals like Beth. Their efforts not only help us continue to run these vital sessions but also inspire others to come together and strengthen our community.

We extend our deepest gratitude once again to Beth and everyone who continues to support our charity. Together, we are building a more connected Bolton and delivering positive change using the power of our football club.
