Recognition for Premier League Primary Stars Participant
Premier League Primary Stars participant Maham Ali was recognised with an award at our BWitC Charity Dinner on Friday 25th October. Attending with her teacher Carole, from Pikes Lane Primary School, Maham was commended for her personal development through her participation in the Premier League Primary Stars Programme.
Before taking part in the Premier League Primary Stars programme Maham was shy and lacked confidence both in and out of the classroom. However, after working with Joe and the BWitC team Maham now has the confidence to answer questions in class, join clubs and has even become a playground pal looking after younger children at school.
Our Premier League Primary Stars programme works with local Primary Schools to inspire children to learn, be active and develop the important life skills to have positive relationships in both their personal and school environments. According to statistics, children in Bolton are struggling more with their self-esteem, resilience and attendance. Our workshops have been designed to engage children in a safe, supportive environment to talk about life skills in a fun and interactive way.
