Pause & Empower: Guest Speakers
Join us for a first-time Menopause event, in collaboration with Bolton GP Federation and BWitC. The event takes place on Sunday 1st October, 1pm in Club McGinlay, Toughseet Community Stadium.
With 100 women attending to learn from healthcare professionals, connect with other women going through the same journey, gain knowledge to make those informed choices and have your questions answered.
Women make up 50 percent of the worlds population and everyone of them will go through the menopause. Unfortunately, far too many do so without comprehensive, or even adequate understanding of what is happening to their bodies and moods during this transition.
Menopause is different for every woman, but one thing is certain, Menopause is more than hot flashes and it doesn’t happen overnight. BWitC will also be discussing in addition to physical and emotional effects the possible workplace implications for women during the menopause. The event aims to provide the support to navigate the journey with confidence and empowerment.
