Last Remaining Tickets for AJ’s Charity Night

Just a small number of tickets remain for AJ’s Charity Night, raising awareness of a rare type of eye cancer, (Retinoblastoma) whilst raising vital funds for Bolton Wanderers in the Community and the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust.

The fourth annual fundraising event, organised by the Finney family, is this year being hosted in the Festival Hall, The Albert Halls on Saturday 10th May starting at 6:30pm. This year’s event promises to be a brilliant night with appearances from comedy magician Andrew James, and Britain’s Got Talent Runner up, Jamie Leahey, and third place Daliso Chaponda.

The annual event is hosted in honour of 4 year old AJ Finney, who was diagnosed with the rare eye cancer, Retinoblastoma, in November 2021. Just one day after his first birthday, AJ underwent surgery to remove his right eye, which thankfully, effectively removed the cancerous tumour. As a thank you for the support they received, AJ’s family vowed from May 2022 to raise money to give back to the organisations that stood by them during their most challenging time: the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust and Bolton Wanderers in the Community.

Alex Finney, Director of AJF Commercial Business Sales, stated “These two charities supported us during the toughest time of our lives so hosting our annual charity events in honour of our little boy and raising money for two incredibly worthy charities is our absolute privilege. We are so proud that since our first event in 2022, we have donated just over £17,500 to the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust and Bolton Wanderers in the Community and we cannot wait to add to that total with this year’s event which is set to be the biggest and best yet!”
