Chairman’s Walk 2023: Update!
20 fundraisers are now signed up to take part in the upcoming Chairman’s Walk- and there’s still time for you to join them.
Following on from the Wanderers’ successful win at Wembley with the Papa Johns Trophy Final, Club Chairman Sharon Brittan will lead the group of fundraisers – including BWFC Director Nick Luckock and CEO Neil Hart on the 12-mile walk.
Starting in Chapeltown village the route will cover past Club historical landmarks and sites including Bromwich Street, Burnden Park and Pikes Lane before culminating at the University of Bolton Stadium. The event also coincides with the 100th anniversary year of the Wanderers FA Cup triumph in 1923 at Wembley where throughout the rounds of the competition, Wanderers fans clocked up the miles when they travelled to games by foot.
