BWFC and BWitC Support Multibank 2024 Campaign

On Saturday 14th December, Bolton Wanderers and Bolton Wanderers in the Community welcomed the Multibank 2024 Christmas campaign to the Wellbeing Hub at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, supported by Vital Energi.

Multibank aims to raise awareness of the rising issues of hygiene poverty amongst young people up-and-down the United Kingdom.

As a Club and Charity, we are proud to have supported the campaign before Wanderers’ game against Wigan Athletic. Welcoming donations of essential hygiene products such as deodorant, toothpaste and shampoo, we hope the pre-match donations will help those in need this season.

As part of the 2024 Christmas Campaign, PZ Cussons have also donated a pallet of Hand Sanitizer to help children across the Multibank this festive period. An incredible gesture that will no doubt help to tackle the issues surrounding hygiene poverty in the UK.

Also, we would like to extend a huge thank you to all BWFC fans who joined us in support the campaign with your generous donations – the difference you will make this Christmas will be vital.

There are currently five Multibanks across the UK – with a sixth set to open in the West Midlands early 2025. During the course of the last three years, the charity have redistributed more than five million household and children’s items – helping over 500,000 families. Collecting items such as soap, shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes helps to create essential hygiene packs that will go to those most in need across the United Kingdom.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the organisations, including Vital Energi, that supported the campaign through their generous donations. Through the continued partnerships with organisations, we as a Club and Community Charity can continue to use the power of football to support our town.
