Black History Month with PL Primary Stars

Using the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs, PL Primary Stars aims to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills. It inspires girls and boys aged 5-11 in the classroom, the playground and on the sports field. As part of the programme, Bolton Wanderers in the Community can support the delivery of PE and school sport and provide opportunities for teacher CPD and 1-1 mentoring.

Our Bolton Wanderers themed lesson plans strive to show children who aren’t already convinced, that learning can be fun. Read below to find about our Wanderers tailored lesson plans:

During this years Black History Month our PLPS team rolled out a brand new Racism and Inclusion awareness workshop. The team took this workshop to schools across Bolton, delivering to a diverse range of children and teachers alike. The students were even lucky enough to receive a personal thank you video from Wanderers striker Dapo Afolayan!
