All New Digital Skills Sessions Launched at Sutton Estate Community Centre

Bolton Wanderers in the Community are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new Digital Skills Hub, designed to bridge the digital divide and empower local residents. Led by our Skills and Pathways Team sessions start Tuesday 7th January at Sutton Estate Community Centre.

This exciting new project is part of our charity’s ongoing commitment to work toward a connected Bolton without disadvantage. With more and more services now moving online it is key to support our local residents in becoming more digitally connected. Our sessions aim to enhance the lives of people in Bolton by providing essential skills and support to navigate the ever-evolving digital world. The drop-in sessions will run every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, offering a welcoming space for individuals to gain confidence online.

“At Bolton Wanderers in the Community, we work to empower individuals by providing them with the tools they need to succeed,” said Stephen Thomas, Skills and Pathways Manager. “As a charity our mission is to use the power of our football club to ensure a connected Bolton without disadvantage therefore, we can’t ignore that most connection is now online. With our new Digital Skills programme local residents will work to improve their digital literacy and stay connected in today’s world.”

The sessions are free to attend, and equipment will be provided at the session. Whether you’re looking to learn how to navigate the internet, access essential services, or simply connect with friends and family online, these workshops are for you.
